Biography:

Professor Bin Wang the Director of CGC. He is currently concentrating on the study the late time accelerating expansion of the Universe, 21 cm cosmology, gravitational waves and black hole physics, including gravitational collapse, analog black holes and aspects of black hole thermodynamics. He has published more than 200 papers in some prestigious, high impact journals in the field of astrophysics and high energy physics, including Nature Astronomy, Reports on Progress in Physics, Physical Review Letters etc. These papers have been cited over 10800 times according to Google Scholars. His h-index is 54.
Professor Bin Wang was selected as the Cross-Century Excellent Young Researcher by the Ministry of Education of China in 2003. In 2005 he received the special research fund for Distinguished Young Scholars from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2011 he was chosen as the national Yangtze distinguished professor by the Ministry of Education of China. He was the Second Prize winner of the National Natural Science Awards by Ministry of Science and Technology of China. He is a member of the editorial board of “Communications in Theoretical Physics”.
