Abstract: BINGO is a 40m radio telescope under construction in Brazil. It is intended to perform 21cm intensity  mapping in the frequency range of 980 Mhz to 1260 Mhz. It will cover about 5000 square degree and detect BAO signal at z = 0.13 - 0.45. I will briefly introduce the idea of 21cm intensity mapping, the progress of BINGO and its scientific implication.
