2018 Annual Meeting of the Division of Gravitation and Relativistic Astrophysics, Chinese Physical Society
The meeting of the Division of Gravitation and Relativistic Astrophysics of the Chinese Physical Society is held every year at different locations. This year the meeting was held in Yangzhou, with CGC as the local organizer. The event, which is the largest annual conference for workers in the field, was attended by over 400 faculties and graduate students from over 120 universities and institutions.
Among the participants is Prof. Jun Luo, the President of Sun Yat-sen University, who is leading a proposed space-borne gravitational wave detection Project known as “TianQin” (“Celestial Harp”). Prof. Luo took the opportunity to congratulate CGC on its achievement and active involvements in gravitational physics, despite being a young center established only a year ago.
