CosPA, International Symposium on Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics, is a series of conferences which was initiated in Taiwan and has been organized in Asia Pacific region annually as an activity of the Asia Pacific Organization of Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics (APCosPA). This year the event was hosted by the Center for Gravitation and Cosmology at Yangzhou University from Nov. 19 to Nov. 23 in Yangzhou. The event was attended by about 150 faculties and graduate students from over 10 countries. In this symposium, the researchers from the observational, computer simulation and theoretical sides working in cosmology, astrophysics and astroparticle physics gathered to discuss the current situation as well as prospects for future collaborations and improvements.
Among the participants is Prof. Jun Luo, the President of Sun Yat-sen University, who is leading a proposed space-borne gravitational wave detection Project known as “TianQin” (“Celestial Harp”). He introduced the progress on TianQin in the plenary session.
